Whenever my colleagues and I talk about ourselves, the conversation frequently involves our thought processes and ways of changing or upgrading our thought processes, basically to a level that includes more maturity and thoughtfulness.
Ever since I heard about this word (thought-process) I always wondered what thought-process means. And on top of that, how do I change it? After some digging into the topic (my digging included reading noun and verb meanings of thought-process 🥲).
But seriously does someone’s thought process make any difference?
Not through any blog or post but through day-to-day conversations I could see the difference between the quality of thoughts of mine and the seniors at Tacitbase. I could see a significant difference in quality. This upgrade in quality is what upgrading the thought process means to me, I might be wrong. I think getting better at thought processes is not a single-step process Of course. I could list down the steps that I found helpful.
Accepting that change in thought process can make a difference.
Don’t settle with a single thought around your topic.
Give yourself space to think about a topic from a different perspective.
Try different routes towards the same goal.
Try initiating convos with people you think have a better or different perspective than yours.
Respect their thought process and explore the root of their thoughts.
The thought process is a flow of thoughts your mind goes through when you ask yourself to think about something (any topic or any decision). Practice can effectively help you get better at this, with every conversation, with every thoughtful decision you’ll be making using your thought process day by day. Upgrading your thought process can surely make a difference, not just at your workplace but also in your life.
Nicely written.
Well said Bro!
